Our holiday apartments Spatzennest, Kuckucknest and Schwalbennest (named after a sparrow s, coocoo s and swallow s nest) were newly built in 2007, the Amselnest and Meisennest apartments (named after a black bird s and a tit s nest) in 2011. All of them were created using solid timber construction, guaranteeing a very comfortable indoor climate. Since we also care for ecology, we have used wood shavings as insulation. All apartments are heated with wood chips. We tried to build the apartments with our guests needs in mind, prioritising for visual aesthetics, quality and functionality. We were thus able to create a place to make you feel truly comfortable. For us, cleanliness comes first, as it is the basic premise for an enjoyable holiday. Each apartment grants a view of the courtyard, where your children might be having fun on the giant trampoline or on the swing. It is easy to keep them in sight also when they are playing in the sand or using one of various kids vehicles. In summer, children love to take part in driving the cattle to pasture. Each child is given a stick to help, which makes them feel all grown up. In the morning, when you open your front door and feel the first rays of sun on your face, you will find your fresh, pre-ordered rolls hanging on the door knob.
